This is an exquisite hand engraved wood tea light holder with intricate designs. Shaped like a stemmed flower, it is a beautiful piece to light up a corner of your table or give out as a gift. 

Engraved by a master artisan out of solid wood, this piece is an example of the fine work that wood carvers in India are known for.

Tracing its roots back to the 18th century, these wood carving blocks were arduously handcrafted to impose beautiful designs on cloth in the process called block printing. With the advent of screen and roller printing, this art form has seen dwindling demand leaving only a handful of artisans who can recreate these beauties.

At Peepul Tree we help revive and support this craft through a range of tealight holders made out of these intricately crafted blocks.
